Pure silver as a metal is soft as gold. For this reason, 925° silver is manufactured, consisting of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% copper.

A good practise is to washed them with lukewarm water and soap and finish with a good drying.
Silver jewellery should be kept in a dark, cool and dry place.
Excessive humidity can cause tarnishing.
We place them separately from other jewellery.
Tarnishing Silver Jewellery
With the passage of time silver blackens and dazzles, this does not mean that your jewellery is of poor quality silver but proves otherwise.
The tarnishing is due to the surface oxidation of the metal because of the sulfur present in the atmosphere and it is easy to restore it to its original form with a visit to a silversmithing laboratory.
What is gold plated?
Several of our jewels are gilded with yellow or pink gold, 14K or 18K.
Is the gold plated unchanged in time?
Over time and frequent use a gold plated jewellery begins to lose its shine and colour.
Under no circumstances can we avoid wear and tear but we can slow it down, for this reason it would be good to:
Remove the jewels when we put cream, perfume, lotion and when we enter the shower, the sea or the pool.
Also the PH of the body (sweat) and friction will inevitably alter the colour.
